The New Governmental Cabinet of Zilatra!
Gaszalasi – Yet another election season has come again for our democratic nation, during which many interesting developments have occurred. As most politically knowledgeable citizens know, Luka Ronango'O and Marko Drazan were elected as General Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the nation respectively, with their victory being made quite easy as no other eligible candidates were able to compete against their ticket for one reason or the other when it came time to hold the elections.
What some people consider to be more interesting, however, is the appointment and approval votes held for the new Executive Cabinet and their decisions on who should be appointed as Commissar of each Commissariat. It has been noted that these selections seem to be quite unique compared to previous terms.
For example, Roblinka Illietrosa, a political outsider not present in the Xeroist Union Party, was appointed to hold the position of Commissar of Foreign Affairs, his approval vote only barely passed with 60% support, which is an unheard of amount of opposition for any given vote to approve a Commissar candidate.
Other than that, people also raised some minor concerns about the selection of Kanari si Panolun as Commissar of Information, given his perceived political inexperience in being part of the Executive and his status as a newcomer to the Commissariat, however, he was still successfully approved by vote and elected despite these reasonable complaints.
Alongside this, elections were held for the Kelitá soon after as well. Many notable candidates applied in these including, Samira Luminov, Amon Prym, Faelyn Lancaster, and Avan Strakov. Amon and Faelyn were elected Premier/Vice Premier in the Premier elections although there have been claims made that other candidates were not given proper notification that they could apply for Premier for this election.
